Blackmer Screw Pumps

Blackmer® S Series screw pumps are self-priming, double-ended, positive displacement pumps that offer outstanding performance in the most demanding applications regardless of temperature, viscosity or pressure. The twin and triple screw designs provide complete axial balancing of the rotating screws and their timing technologies eliminate metal-to-metal contact within the pump.

Blackmer Screw Pumps

Blackmer S Series pumps are available in four distinct lines, each having multiple model configurations and sizes: twin screw (WTG), twin screw with non-timing gear (NTG), multi-phase twin screw, and triple screw. Other features of Blackmer S Series pumps include compact design, ability to run dry for short periods, high suction lift and constant flow rates despite varying conditions. They are low noise and nearly pulsation-free with little fluid agitation, making them ideal for use with corrosive and non-corrosive, low or high viscosity, and clean or abrasive liquids.

Blackmer Regenerative Turbine Pumps

Blackmer® offers Ebsray® RC Series regenerative turbine pumps to the Americas market for LPG (propane) and Autogas applications. Regenerative turbine pumps are also known as peripheral pumps or centrifugal regenerative pumps.

Recognized as a global leader in Autogas handling applications – with decades of reliable performance in thousands of installations worldwide – Ebsray regenerative turbine pump products are known for efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Ebsray RC Series regenerative turbine pumps have been specifically designed and precision-built for high-pressure transfer in Autogas applications. The secret to the success of these pumps is the innovative impeller design, which optimizes hydraulic performance resulting in high differential pressures even at low flow rates, a critical consideration for Autogas applications. Ebsray turbine pumps also feature a smooth, quiet operation and long pump life.

Blackmer Regenerative Turbine Pumps

The regenerative turbine pump design is very unique and works on a different principle than PD pumps. The impeller is a rotating, non-contacting, free-wheeling disc which has many small buckets or cells (typically about 60) on its periphery. When liquid enters the suction port it is picked up by the impeller and instantly accelerated around in the narrow hydraulic channel (casing volute) surrounding the cells. Kinetic energy is imparted to the liquid being flung outwards by the centrifugal force from the liquid in the teeth cells, while circulating radially around the channel.

Blackmer Centrifugal Pumps

The System One Centrifugal Pumps are designed specifically to operate in severe process industry applications, and contain oversized bearings to offer greater load capacity and extended bearing life. These pumps increase productivity, while offering maximum reliability in the toughest of applications, such as mining de-watering, chemical process and water/wastewater treatment.

Blackmer Centrifugal Pumps

The simplest type of centrifugal pump is the single stage machine that consists fundamentally of a rotating element, called an impeller, and a casing. Liquid is led to the eye or center of the impeller and is set into rotation by the impeller vanes. By virtue of centrifugal force the liquid is thrown from the rim or periphery of the impeller with a considerable velocity and pressure. The casing, which closely surrounds the impeller, has a volute shaped passage of increasing area, which collects the liquid leaving the impeller, and converts a portion of its velocity energy into additional pressure energy. This casing passage leads to the discharge nozzle of the pump where it is forced into the discharge piping.

Blackmer Reciprocating Gas Compressors

The single and two stage Blackmer reciprocating gas compressors create a low-pressure area in the pumping chamber when the piston moves from the highest point of the stroke to the lowest. Gaseous product (at a higher pressure in the tank) moves into the pumping chamber of the gas compressor. This volume of gas is then displaced when the piston moves to the top of the stroke.

Blackmer Reciprocating Gas Compressors

Equipped with high efficiency valves, ductile iron pistons, self-adjusting piston rod seals and other robust features, these reciprocating gas compressors are designed to provide maximum performance and reliability under the most severe service conditions. They are also a critical component in the design of oil and gas vapor recovery units (VRUs).

Blackmer Rotary Vane Pumps

Blackmer is the world’s leading manufacturer of Rotary Vane pumps. The sliding vane design compensates for normal wear in the pumping chamber, ensuring "like new" performance throughout the life of the pump. Blackmer positive displacement pumps have revolutionised the pumping industry with their unique sliding vane technology. This revolutionary design allows the pumps to self-adjust for wear to help maintain flow rates. This sliding vane pump design creates excellent self-priming and dry-run capabilities, while also providing sustained performance and trouble-free operation. Contact Pump & Machinery for details.
