Blackmer Centrifugal Pumps

The System One Centrifugal Pumps are designed specifically to operate in severe process industry applications, and contain oversized bearings to offer greater load capacity and extended bearing life. These pumps increase productivity, while offering maximum reliability in the toughest of applications, such as mining de-watering, chemical process and water/wastewater treatment.

Blackmer Centrifugal Pumps

The simplest type of centrifugal pump is the single stage machine that consists fundamentally of a rotating element, called an impeller, and a casing. Liquid is led to the eye or center of the impeller and is set into rotation by the impeller vanes. By virtue of centrifugal force the liquid is thrown from the rim or periphery of the impeller with a considerable velocity and pressure. The casing, which closely surrounds the impeller, has a volute shaped passage of increasing area, which collects the liquid leaving the impeller, and converts a portion of its velocity energy into additional pressure energy. This casing passage leads to the discharge nozzle of the pump where it is forced into the discharge piping.

March-Self Priming Pumps

March Manufacturing began in 1954 as a job shop performing precision machining for the aircraft industry.  In 1955, March developed its first pump for removing cooling coil condensation.  Our first magnetic drive pump came out in 1962.  In the late 60’s, March ceased operating in the aircraft industry to concentrate on pumps.

Originally located in Skokie, IL, a suburb of Chicago, March moved in 1968 to Glenview, IL to a larger building to better accomodate the increasing demand for sealless pumps.

The company was founded by William Zimmermann.  Since the beginning, March has been managed by the Zimmermann family, and  continues today.

JEC Sanitary Twin Screw Pumps
  1. Why Choose a Twin Screw Pump?

The twin screw pumps offer a great feature that they can operate over a large speedrange. With this feature, these pumps can have a dual function in hygienic application pumping the product at low speed and the CIP fluid at high speed so No additional CIP pump is needed. Due to the design, the twin screw pump can deliver a pulsation free flow on low viscosity product (<1cP), volatile and gaseous fluids. Also as a result of the design these pumps are able to create a high vacuum causing the pump to be self-priming. The JEC twin screw pump is developed according the highest hygienic specification such as EHEDG and 3A and fulfils the utmost hygienic and efficiency requirements for the most delicate hygienic applications!

JEC Sanitary Twin Screw Pumps

Applications Twin Screw Pump

  • To pump structure sensitive products
  • Pumping fluids with solids
  • Multiple use, operate at low capacities with low RPM's and high RPM’s for CIP cleaning
  • For applications where high viscous products, as well as low viscous products need to be pumped under high pressure.
  • Applications where you need a pulsation free flow
