Aviation Refueling Trailer

This custom designed and built aviation refueling trailer is heading from Wellington to the Pacific Islands. The trailer will be used on a remote airfield for refueling medium and small commercial aircraft so the design had to incorporate practicality and safety. The fuel pump is driven by a Yanmar diesel engine and the fuel is filtered and then metered through a Liquid Controls M5 meter with a large numeral register. The whole design has been carefully considered to incorporate useful practical features, such as drip trays and storage areas but most importantly the design includes aviation safety modifications. We have many similar long serving trailers across the South Pacific but with each new model we make improvements to bring the design up to date.
