Pictured is a Packo CRP pump, designed for cip (cleaning in place), being installed in a new cheese manufacturing plant. Pump & Machinery supplied this pump because they offer significant advantages when pumping fluids for processes such as CIP where air and liquid are entrained. The SS316 centrifugal pump incorporates an air release tank.
The pumps of the CRP series are perfectly cleanable air handling pumps. Constructed in thick cold rolled plate, 100% non-porous and extremely smooth. The pumps have open or closed investment cast impellers, constructed in 316L or duplex materials. Thanks to its crevice-free design and electropolishing, as a final surface treatment, the CRP pump series are perfectly cleanable, resulting in a reliable component for your production process.
This pump was installed along with a pull range of Packo pumps to suit different requirements within the manufacturing process.
