Blackmer Regenerative Turbine Pumps

Blackmer® offers Ebsray® RC Series regenerative turbine pumps to the Americas market for LPG (propane) and Autogas applications. Regenerative turbine pumps are also known as peripheral pumps or centrifugal regenerative pumps.

Recognized as a global leader in Autogas handling applications – with decades of reliable performance in thousands of installations worldwide – Ebsray regenerative turbine pump products are known for efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Ebsray RC Series regenerative turbine pumps have been specifically designed and precision-built for high-pressure transfer in Autogas applications. The secret to the success of these pumps is the innovative impeller design, which optimizes hydraulic performance resulting in high differential pressures even at low flow rates, a critical consideration for Autogas applications. Ebsray turbine pumps also feature a smooth, quiet operation and long pump life.

Blackmer Regenerative Turbine Pumps

The regenerative turbine pump design is very unique and works on a different principle than PD pumps. The impeller is a rotating, non-contacting, free-wheeling disc which has many small buckets or cells (typically about 60) on its periphery. When liquid enters the suction port it is picked up by the impeller and instantly accelerated around in the narrow hydraulic channel (casing volute) surrounding the cells. Kinetic energy is imparted to the liquid being flung outwards by the centrifugal force from the liquid in the teeth cells, while circulating radially around the channel.

Corken Regenerative Turbine Pumps

Corken's regenerative turbine Coro-Flo® pump was specifically designed for high head, low flow applications involving light liquids. The Autogas regenerative turbine pumps are designed for LPG applications where high differential pressure is required. The regenerative turbine construction provides smooth continuous flow with trouble-free service for volatile liquefied gases.
